Proposal

In the shadow of Leonardo da Vinci's 'Mono Lisa' his lesser-known portrait 'La Belle Ferroniere' also known as the 'Portrait of an Unknown Woman' must compete for attention in the Louvre Museum. Being a mistress of Francis I of France she has always been in the background. This project attempts to help move her to the foreground. Using two sets of servo motors on a double hinge controlled by an Arduino nano, the painting moves erratically to get the attention from the viewer. The Jewel in her head is replaced by a laser distance sensor measuring the distance between the painting and the viewer so if a person looks more closely at the painting it will stop moving, if more than 80cm away the painting will again seek attention.
Two sets of servo motors mounted in parallel of an aluminium hinge. The painting can move up / down and left /right.
